Occaselle Privacy Policy

Effective Date: October 28, 2026

This Privacy Policy explains how Destine LLC (“Destine LLC,” “we,” “us,” or “our”) collects, uses, stores, and shares information in connection with Occaselle, including its wedding website builder, hosted wedding websites, guest-management tools, RSVP functionality, and related services available through occaselle.com (collectively, the “Service”).

By using the Service, you acknowledge the practices described in this Privacy Policy.

1. Who This Policy Applies To

This Privacy Policy applies to:

  • customers who purchase or use the wedding website builder;

  • authorized users who help manage a wedding website;

  • wedding guests who visit a hosted wedding website or submit an RSVP;

  • individuals whose information is entered into a guest list by a customer; and

  • visitors to our websites and related services.

Customers creating wedding websites may provide information about other people, including wedding guests. In those situations, the customer generally determines which information they choose to enter or request from their guests, while we process that information as necessary to provide the Service.

2. Information We Collect

A. Account and Customer Information

When you create or use an account, we may collect information such as:

  • name;

  • email address;

  • account identifiers;

  • authentication information;

  • account role or membership information;

  • purchase or activation information;

  • purchase date;

  • hosting start and end dates; and

  • support communications.

For purchases made directly through Occaselle, Stripe processes the payment. We may receive and retain your checkout email, order and payment identifiers, purchased package, amount, currency, payment and refund status, and information needed to connect the purchase to your account and website. Payment-card details entered at Stripe checkout are handled by Stripe rather than stored in your Occaselle account.

For purchases through Etsy, we do not need to receive your Etsy payment-card information. Information handled independently by Stripe, Etsy, or another payment provider is subject to that provider’s own privacy practices.

B. Wedding Information

Customers may provide information used to build and publish a wedding website, including:

  • names of the couple;

  • wedding date;

  • wedding location;

  • event venues;

  • wedding schedules;

  • travel and accommodation information;

  • dress-code information;

  • registry information;

  • stories, biographies, or personal messages;

  • photographs and other uploaded media;

  • website preferences and customization settings; and

  • other content voluntarily added to the wedding website.

C. Guest and Household Information

Customers may create guest lists or household records containing information such as:

  • guest names;

  • household or group associations;

  • email addresses;

  • phone numbers, where supported;

  • event invitations;

  • attendance status;

  • invite identifiers or tokens; and

  • notes or other information entered by the customer.

D. RSVP Information

When guests respond to an invitation, we may process information including:

  • name;

  • RSVP status;

  • event attendance selections;

  • number or identity of attending household members;

  • dietary restrictions or meal-related information;

  • responses to questions created by the couple; and

  • other information voluntarily submitted through the RSVP form.

E. Custom Questions

Customers may create custom questions for their guests.

Responses to those questions are stored and processed as part of the RSVP functionality.

Because customers control the questions they create, those questions could potentially request information that is personal or sensitive.

Customers should avoid requesting information that is unnecessary for managing their wedding or events.

In particular, customers should exercise caution before requesting information concerning health, religion, disability, identity, financial matters, or other sensitive subjects.

F. Technical Information

When you access the Service, we may automatically receive technical information such as:

  • IP address;

  • browser type;

  • device type;

  • operating system;

  • pages or features accessed;

  • timestamps;

  • error logs;

  • security-related events; and

  • similar diagnostic or usage information.

We may use this information to operate, secure, troubleshoot, and improve the Service.

3. How We Use Information

We may use information collected through the Service to:

  • create and maintain customer accounts;

  • provide access to purchased services;

  • create, store, customize, and publish wedding websites;

  • manage guest lists and households;

  • operate invitation and RSVP functionality;

  • display RSVP responses to the appropriate wedding customer;

  • process custom-question responses;

  • maintain hosting entitlements;

  • authenticate users and protect accounts;

  • respond to customer-support requests;

  • detect fraud, abuse, or unauthorized access;

  • troubleshoot technical problems;

  • maintain and improve the Service;

  • comply with applicable legal obligations; and

  • enforce our Terms of Service.

We do not use wedding guest lists or RSVP responses for unrelated advertising.

4. Guest Information Provided by Customers

Customers may enter information about guests before those guests interact directly with the Service.

If you are a customer, you are responsible for ensuring that the guest information you provide is appropriate and that you have a lawful basis or other appropriate reason for providing and using that information.

Customers should not upload unnecessary sensitive information about their guests.

We process guest information primarily so that customers can organize invitations, manage wedding events, and collect RSVP responses.

5. Dietary and Other Potentially Sensitive Information

Dietary restrictions may sometimes reveal information relating to health, disability, religion, or other sensitive matters.

Custom RSVP questions may also result in guests voluntarily providing sensitive information.

We process such information only as necessary to provide the RSVP and guest-management functions requested by the customer and guest.

Customers should request only information reasonably necessary for planning their wedding or related events.

6. Invite Links and Tokens

The Service may create invite links, invitation codes, tokens, or similar identifiers.

These identifiers may be used to:

  • associate a guest or household with an invitation;

  • permit access to RSVP functionality;

  • identify eligible events; or

  • retrieve information necessary to complete an RSVP.

Invite tokens should be treated as private access credentials.

Guests and customers should avoid publicly sharing private invite links or tokens.

7. How We Share Information

We do not sell wedding guest information.

We may disclose information in the following circumstances.

Service Providers

We may use third-party providers to help operate the Service, including providers of:

  • cloud hosting;

  • databases;

  • authentication;

  • file and image storage;

  • email or communications;

  • payment processing and purchase fulfillment;

  • analytics;

  • security;

  • infrastructure; and

  • technical support.

These providers may process information only as necessary to provide their services to us, subject to their applicable agreements and privacy practices.

Marketplace Providers

If you purchase the Service through Etsy or another marketplace, that marketplace may provide us with information necessary to identify or fulfill your purchase.

Information processed independently by the marketplace is governed by the marketplace’s own privacy policy.

Legal Requirements

We may disclose information when reasonably necessary to:

  • comply with law, regulation, legal process, or governmental request;

  • protect our rights or property;

  • investigate fraud or security incidents;

  • protect users or others from harm; or

  • enforce our agreements.

Business Transfers

If Destine LLC or this Service is involved in a merger, acquisition, financing, reorganization, sale of assets, or similar transaction, information may be transferred as part of that transaction, subject to applicable law.

8. Public Wedding Websites

Information published to a publicly accessible wedding website may be viewable by anyone who visits that website.

Customers are responsible for deciding what information they choose to publish publicly.

Customers should consider carefully before publishing information such as:

  • personal phone numbers;

  • residential addresses;

  • private travel details;

  • sensitive family information; or

  • other information they would not want broadly accessible.

Where available, customers may use privacy or guest-access settings to limit access.

No privacy or access-control mechanism can guarantee absolute confidentiality or security.

9. Search Engine Visibility

The Service may provide customers with settings relating to search-engine indexing.

We will use reasonable efforts to honor available indexing preferences, but we cannot guarantee how or when third-party search engines crawl, cache, index, or remove content.

Information previously indexed or cached by a third party may remain available for some time after settings are changed or a site is removed.

10. Data Retention

We retain information for as long as reasonably necessary to:

  • provide the Service;

  • maintain active accounts and wedding websites;

  • support customers;

  • fulfill applicable hosting periods;

  • respond to support requests;

  • maintain security;

  • comply with legal obligations;

  • resolve disputes;

  • fraud prevention; and

  • enforce our agreements.

Live website hosting may end when the applicable hosting period expires. Hosting periods are generally determined from the applicable purchase or activation date and are not automatically extended by changes to the wedding date. Expiration of live hosting does not necessarily result in immediate deletion of the associated account or wedding data.

Certain information may be retained for a reasonable period after hosting ends, including for account recovery, support, legal compliance, transaction records, fraud prevention, dispute resolution, and normal backup cycles.

Customers may request deletion of their account and associated data as described below.

Different categories of information may be retained for different periods.

For example, certain transaction, purchase, accounting, fraud-prevention, or legal records may need to be retained after a wedding website or account has been deleted.

Information may also remain temporarily in backups or technical systems before being permanently removed through normal deletion cycles.

11. Data Deletion

Customers may request deletion of their account, wedding site, and associated information by contacting us at:

support@occaselle.com

Where appropriate, deletion may include guest lists and RSVP information associated with that wedding.

We may need to verify the identity or authority of the person requesting deletion.

We may retain certain information where required or reasonably necessary for legal compliance, transaction records, fraud prevention, dispute resolution, or enforcement of our agreements.

Requests From Wedding Guests

If you are a wedding guest and would like information about you corrected or deleted, you may contact:

  1. the couple or person managing the wedding website; or

  2. us at support@occaselle.com.

Because the customer controls much of the guest information entered into the Service, we may need to coordinate certain requests with the customer before making changes.

12. Correction of Information

Customers can update many types of wedding and account information through the Service.

If information cannot be changed directly through the Service, you may contact us at support@occaselle.com.

Wedding guests may contact the wedding organizer or us concerning inaccurate personal information submitted through the Service.

13. Security

We use reasonable administrative, technical, and organizational measures designed to protect information from unauthorized access, loss, misuse, alteration, or disclosure.

However, no internet-based service or data-storage system can guarantee absolute security.

Customers are responsible for maintaining the confidentiality of their account credentials and invite links.

14. Cookies and Similar Technologies

The Service may use cookies, local storage, session storage, or similar technologies where necessary to:

  • maintain sessions;

  • authenticate users;

  • remember preferences;

  • provide security;

  • operate core website functionality; and

  • understand or troubleshoot Service performance.

With your consent, we use Vercel Web Analytics on our public marketing pages (home, pricing, the journal, templates, privacy, and terms) to understand which pages are useful and improve our website. Optional analytics is off until you accept. Rejecting it does not prevent you from using the Service.

Vercel provides aggregated statistics such as page views, referring websites, approximate location, browser, operating system, and device type. Vercel Web Analytics does not use analytics cookies and uses a temporary visitor hash that is discarded after 24 hours. We remove query strings and URL fragments from analytics page URLs and exclude account, admin, builder, setup, purchase, and hosted wedding-site pages from this marketing analytics integration.

We store your analytics choice in your browser’s local storage to remember it. You can accept or reject analytics at any time through Analytics preferences, also linked in our footer. This choice applies to this browser and device; clearing site storage resets it. Withdrawing consent stops future analytics events but does not remove previously recorded aggregated statistics. If your choice cannot be read, optional analytics remains off.

For more information, see Vercel’s analytics privacy documentation.

15. Children’s Privacy

The Service is intended for use by adults organizing weddings and related events.

It is not directed to children under 13, and we do not knowingly offer accounts directly to children under 13.

A customer may include the name or attendance information of a child who is part of a wedding household or guest list. Such information should be provided only where appropriate for wedding planning and by an adult authorized to provide it.

If you believe information about a child has been submitted improperly, contact us at support@occaselle.com.

16. Your Privacy Rights

Depending on where you live, applicable law may provide rights concerning your personal information, such as the right to:

  • request access to personal information;

  • request correction;

  • request deletion;

  • request a copy of certain information;

  • object to or restrict certain processing; or

  • appeal certain privacy decisions.

Not all rights apply in every jurisdiction or circumstance.

To submit a privacy request, contact privacy@occaselle.com.

We may need to verify your identity before fulfilling a request.

We will not discriminate against you for exercising privacy rights provided by applicable law.

17. International Users

The Service is operated from the United States.

If you access the Service from another country, your information may be processed or stored in the United States or other locations where our service providers operate.

Privacy laws in those locations may differ from those in your country.

Where required by applicable law, we will take appropriate steps concerning international transfers of personal information.

18. Third-Party Links

Wedding websites may contain links to third-party websites or services, including:

  • registries;

  • hotels;

  • travel services;

  • venues;

  • maps;

  • social media;

  • gift services; or

  • other external resources.

We do not control those third parties and are not responsible for their privacy practices.

Guests and customers should review the privacy policies of third-party services they choose to visit.

19. Changes to This Privacy Policy

We may update this Privacy Policy from time to time as the Service changes or as legal requirements evolve.

When we make material changes, we may:

  • update the effective date;

  • publish the revised Privacy Policy; and

  • provide additional notice where reasonably appropriate or legally required.
